
Aviva has launched an auto-enrolment quote and apply system for business advisers which it says can be completed in ten minutes.
The automated system is aimed at business advisers – including financial advisers and accountants – working with small and medium sized businesses as they approach their staging dates.
The provider said 480,000 SMEs are due to stage this year and the system should give advisers a quick, efficient and repeatable method of applying to set up a workplace pension.
Aviva managing director of business solutions Andy Beswick said auto-enrolment is a complex process for small employers to deal with as many do not have an HR department.
“Making it as easy as possible for employers and business advisers is important,” he said. “An efficient and speedy process is crucial. Being able to get terms and apply in a few minutes, for businesses of any size, should be a really attractive proposition to advisers and accountants.”
