Former Dentons Pension Management man Martin Tilley has started his role at private client adviser and asset manager Hurley Partners as pension director.
In his new role, Tilley (pictured) will focus on developing advisory and trustee relationships with both existing and new small self-administered scheme (SSAS) clients. He will also be working closely with the firm’s other pension specialists.
Tilley left his previous role as director of technical services at Dentons Pension Management in December, after working for the firm for 30 years. He was then on gardening leave until 21 January, when he started his role at Hurley Partners.
Hurley Partners co-founder Jerry Rixon said: “Martin is one of the country’s top pensions experts and bringing him to Hurley Partners adds tremendous strength and pedigree to our well-established team. I am looking forward to working with him and introducing him to our clients.”
Tilley added: “I am thrilled to have found such like-minded people at Hurley Partners. The business is successful and well-respected, and I look forward to playing my part in adding to the firm’s pension offering while assisting in its measured development plans.”
