Revealed: All the nominees for the 2018 Women in Financial Advice Awards

The awards – which are run in association with PA’s sister brands Cover and Retirement Planner – are designed to celebrate the achievements of women working within the financial advice community and also the broader financial services sector in the UK.

These awards are not about men versus women or whether a particular gender is more suited to a career or role in financial services – they are simply about celebrating and recognising the achievements of women in a sector where they continue to be under-represented.

In total, we received more 800 nominations and, once the multiple nominees were taken into account, the following long list was reached. Everyone in the list below will now be asked to complete a short questionnaire in order to progress to the next round of judging.

A shortlist will then be created from which our panel of judges will decide the winners in each category. The judges will take into account factors such as an individual’s achievements in the workplace; challenges faced; evidence of contributions to support and inspire women; and the overall quality of the submission. The winners will then be unveiled at a special ceremony in London on 10 October 2018.
